A former substitute teacher is charged with preying on teenage boys. Court records show Brent Deckard, 28, taught at Mounds schools and Sapulpa High School.
In April, Tulsa police released information about Deckard's warrants involving child sex crimes.
On Friday, Deckard was in Tulsa County Jail after being found in Mexico City, Mexico.
Court records show in 2012, a 14-year-old victim told Tulsa Sex Crimes detectives he met his former substitute teacher at Mounds schools.
He said between November 2011 and January 2012, he became friend with Deckard and would go to Deckard's apartment in the Avalon in South Tulsa to drink alcohol, take pills and Deckard would molest him.
Court records show the alleged victim told detectives, "defendant would buy them alcoholic beverages and give them Xanex and Valium."
Records also show Deckard's roommate also saw cellphone Deckard recorded of the alleged abuse on other boys who were 13 and 14.
Other witnesses saw that video too which led Tulsa Sex Crimes detectives to Sapulpa.
In a Tulsa County affidavit it shows Sapulpa police started investigating Deckard in 2008 but FOX23 News was told there wasn't enough evidence to charge him.
Records show two counts of lewd molestation including contributing to minors and two counts of lewd acts or proposals to a minor were filed against Deckard in Creek County.
Court records in Tulsa County show a 13-year-old boy who is now age 24 told police in 2003 Deckard molested him while driving in a car while on church outings in Van, Texas, and near Carthage, Missouri, and also between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Two other 13-and-14-year-old boys surfaced during the investigation who told detectives Deckard performed sex acts at his grandparents’ home in Oakhurst and at friends’ homes in 2010 and 2011.
When Tulsa police released information about Deckard's warrants, Crime Stoppers tips led police to Mexico City where he was reported to have been trying to get a job teaching children.
Records show Deckard is being held in the Tulsa County jail on more than $100,000 bond and has a hold for Creek County.
Other alleged victims were reported in the investigation but detectives say those boys denied abuse.
