Adrian Peterson has been arrested in Houston for resisting arrest. The former Sooner star was arrested early Saturday morning after an incident where it took three officers to subdue him.

According to the Houston Police Department website, he has been released from jail on a $1,000 bond. Peterson is from Palestine, Texas.

Team spokesman Bob Hagan said Saturday that the Vikings "are aware of the situation and are gathering more information."

Dumb ol' country boy with too much money.A lot of pro athletes have a bodyguard assigned to them just to keep them out of trouble with the women and the partying.I always thought he was more level headed,guess not.

How is it possible for a person to be arrested for resisting arrest? Resisting arrest is a charge after the fact. We are not being told anything in this article.
