Overnight storms caused delays for drivers in Tulsa County.
The intersection near Highway 11 and 136th Street North in Skiatook was blocked because of a few inches of flood water. Many drivers attempted to drive through it.
Driver Jeff Hartman said, "I saw the markers and didn't know how deep it was, so I was kind of nervous to pull into the parking lot.”
A few business and homes are near the intersection.
Skiatook resident, Trenton Case, said, "I was going to check on a friend to see if he could make it to work."
ODOT and other crews were on stand-by with road closed signs, but never had to use them. Water did creep up close to a few homes, which worried neighbors with more rain in the forecast.
"I am nervous, because we just moved in and it makes me nervous to know just how high up it'll come,"
