Firework ordinances vary by city

As the Fourth of July approaches, many in Green Country are stocking up on fireworks.

FOX23 reminds viewers that firework ordinances vary from city to city.

Permits are required in Broken Arrow, Bixby, Claremore, Glenpool, Jenks, and Sand Springs requires permits to set-off fireworks.

In Owasso and Tulsa setting off fireworks is illegal. If you'd like to report illegal fireworks activity inside of Tulsa, call 918-596-9222.
