Tulsa firefighters are working to determine the cause of a fire at a south Tulsa apartment complex on Thursday morning.

They say the fire started in a bedroom, but no one was inside at the time. A neighbor woke up, smelled smoke and went outside to see what was happening. “I looked in the window everything was all black, I touched the door it was real hot so I called 911,” said Michael Johnson.

Crews broke down the front door to get inside and fight the fire.
