Fire destroys several businesses at 61st & Lewis

It took Tulsa firefighters hours to put out a fire at a South Tulsa shopping center. The large fire happened inside a strip mall at 61st & Lewis. 

Three businesses are destroyed, including an alteration shop, book store and deli. A few other businesses are damaged from smoke. The building manager says in all eight tenants were in the center, some there for 20 years. 

The call for firefighters came out around 2:00am and crews still remain on scene. 

Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but say it they do not believe it is suspicious.
