Investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire in a storage building in west Tulsa.

Firefighters said ten units are damaged. It happened at West Bank Storage near Highway 75 and I-44 around 2:30 Wednesday morning.

It took crews about an hour to get all the smoke under control. Seven different crews were called out, EMSA was here as well but no one was injured here.

The captain says it started in one unit but spread to several others. After all the fire, smoke and water officials say ten to fifteen units are damaged.

“It's really hard to say with the destruction, I know one of them had a riding lawnmower, one unit had a lot of Christmas decorations, but other than that I really don't know,” said Captain Randy Bercher with the Tulsa Fire Department.

An investigator has been out here for several hours and they're looking into why this happened.
