Tulsa Fire Department, Station 18, B Shift, has gone above and beyond in gaining awareness for prostate cancer.
Following October -- Breast Cancer Awareness Month -- the boys at Station 18 thought it fitting that men's health received as much recognition as the "pink" month.
Every man is up for a good challenge, so why not include beards and mustaches in a friendly, station wide competition?
No Shave November is not only a fun way to bring awareness to the importance of prostate cancer but also to raise money for a good cause.
From station-specific T-shirts to even a magnetic mustache on the front of the fire truck, Station 18, B Shift is doing its part to help the community.
With all the unnecessary negativity the Tulsa Fire Department has received lately, this story goes to show the camaraderie the brotherhood shares.
