A man lost his life early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 75 in Tulsa.

Tulsa Police Cpl. Jason Muse told FOX23 that the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of South Highway 75.

Muse said a white Lincoln Navigator was driving in the southbound lane when it started having vehicle troubles. While trying to get back onto the roadway from the shoulder, a metallic Chevrolet Suburban struck the Navigator in the rear.

The driver of the Suburban was taken to a Tulsa hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The man and woman inside the Navigator suffered injuries from the accident but were taken to a Tulsa hospital and are expected to survive.

Officials have not released the name of the man who died in this crash.

Technically, Fox, 41st and HWY 75 isn't downtown. That's west Tulsa, south of the refineries.
