Timothy Hauser’s family has been looking for him every day for three weeks.
On August 9th, the 62-year-old was last seen walking out of a Bartlesville Casino around 1:30 in the morning with two people. He has not been found since.
Trysta Shaffer and Rusty Petty were seen on video with Hauser leaving the casino. Shaffer and Petty have admitted to beating and robbing Shaffer for his money that morning.
“These people befriended him, and took him and had plans to take advantage of him and rob him of his money,” said Hauser’s niece, Melanie Anderson.
In their affidavits, Osage County investigators found text messages that revealed the two were planning to rob Hauser. Their affidavits were identical except neither claimed they were the one who hit Hauser with a tire iron. Shaffer said Petty did that and Petty said Shaffer did it.
Both are facing robbery charges. That could change, said Anderson, if she finds her uncle’s body.
Anderson wants to find her uncle Timmy, that is what she calls Hauser.
“I want him found I want to bring him home to our family I want us to have to quit worrying where he is at, to stop spending endless hours driving roads looking for him,” said Anderson. “I want our family to be able to sleep at night and know where he is at, it's not fair to know he is laying out there.”
Anderson said Shaffer and Petty were likely staying with someone the days before they allegedly robbed her uncle. She wants whoever has information about the two to come forward and call Osage County Sheriff’s Office at 918-287-3131.
