Officials with Governor Fallin's office say she is in discussions with South Carolina to drop the extradition order for Dusten Brown.

The order was issued by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley on August 13 after Brown refused to release Veronica to her adopted parents. He faced charges of custodial interference in South Carolina.

Brown turned custody of the 4-year old to the Capobiancos on Monday night. Governor Fallin hopes Brown will not have to go to South Carolina.

Essentially Fallin sanctioned Brown. She should do time with him. These screwball Cherokee lawyers gave him bad advice. They should be punished also.
