Fallin signs Open Carry into law

The bill allows people who are licensed, or already have been licensed, to carry a firearm under the Oklahoma Self Defense Act to openly carry a weapon or conceal it.

I totally agree with the right to carry, but think it is asking for trouble for other than law enforcement to carry openly....like asking for trouble, or threatening others. I don't like ignorance, but sometimes ignorance is bliss. ...I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, maybe those good people with the right to carry, will carry openly and will intimidate any other people from doing bad stuff....or will they become the target of the bad guys? In the "wild west" people carried openly...everyone who had/has a gun doesn't want a gunfight, they just want the right to carry, to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their property. When did the law to conceal was first enforced? ...looking at history records, has it made a difference or not? ...can we read these records? ...where?
