A Tulsa County judge dropped a failure to report child neglect charge against a family counselor.

Laura Fox was charged with a misdemeanor in November.  On Monday, a judge dismissed those charges "in the interest of justice."

The assistant district attorney on the case tells FOX23 that after the charges were filed, Fox's lawyer provided them with information that police did not have during their investigation showing that Fox did the right thing.

The district attorney's office also claims DHS did not provide them with complete information during their investigation.

The arrest report claimed that Fox didn't protect three north Tulsa children found living in deplorable conditions.

The children's parents, Angela and Matthew Prior, and their grandmother, Janet Friend, plead guilty to child neglect charges on December 19th.

Matthew Prior was given a five year suspended sentence, along with $850 in fines.  Angela Prior is due back in court for sentencing on February 20th.  Janet Friend will be in court on January 13th.

The truth came out and the charges were dismissed! Will we see a story vindicating Mrs. Fox?

Difficult confusing story to interpret the difference between Ms Fox and Fox News.
