Tulsa Police are investigating after explosive materials were found in a north Tulsa home Monday night.
Officers went to the home near north Florence Place and Queen Street to serve a warrant for stolen property, after they found a stolen Chevy Blazer linked to the home.
Once officers got another search warrant for the home, they went inside and found tri-acetone tri-peroxide, known as TATP, a common homemade explosive often used to make bombs. They also found an empty grenade they believe Larkins was planning to fill with TATP.
Brian Larkins, Jason Rathburn, and Jessica Cason were arrested. Larkins is facing several complaints, including possession of explosives. Rathburn and Cason are facing drug and stolen property complaints.
The bomb squad was able to safely detonate the explosive materials.
