A man wanted for questioning in a Tahlequah murder is on the run and his ex-girlfriend says he needs to be caught.

FOX23 News spoke to ex-girlfriend, Charity Pearce, who says she couldn't imagine him being dangerous but believes he is now that she has talked to police.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations continue to search for his girlfriend and Heather Black.

He has felony warrants but is also a person of interest in the killing of NSU professor Tiffany Maher in Tahlequah in May.

Schneider lived at the Motel 6 with Pearce. She says they met on an online dating website in November. "He has this thing about him, he can talk to you and say the right thing and then he has you hooked," said Pearce.

In March, she came home and saw credit cards opened in her father's name and her children's names.

"He took my identity," said Pearce.

She suspects Schneider opened accounts in her 5-year-old and 15-year-olds information.

"I felt uneasy, if he could do that with my dad's information what is he capable of doing?" said Pearce.
Now he's a person of interest in the killing of NSU professor Tiffany Maher.

"It never crosses your mind that someone you know could possibly do something like that," said Pearce.

She shared new pictures of Schneider when she was with him earlier this year.

"He's not the person I knew," said Pearce.

He is also accused of taking police on a chase in Midtown Tulsa where hit several cars. His girlfriend, Heather Black is suspected of being in the car that he abandoned with his 2-year-old daughter in the backseat.

"He has to be caught," said Pearce.

Since the chase, Pearce made contact with several other women with similar stories. All of the women met him on dating websites.

"He could victimize other people," said Pearce.

FOX23 News pulled an emergency protective order filed by the mother of Schneider's daughter against Schneider on Monday.

The protective order was granted and Schneider is not allowed to be within 300 feet of the mother or her daughter.
