The “Ask About Ed” forum Oct. 9, will highlight public education in Oklahoma. All greater Tulsa area candidates running for the State House of Representatives or State Senate have been invited.
It's happening at Will Rogers College Preparatory High School’s Auditorium from 6 to 8 pm. During one of the hours, candidates will sit down and answer public education questions. Each candidate will have two minutes to answer the same question.
The last hour will be dedicated to giving people the opportunity to talk to candidates personally and ask questions. 49th is Not OK! and Tulsa Area Parent Legislative Action Committee are co-hosting the forum.
One of the co-founder's for 49th is Not OK!, Marlow Sipes, said public education is more important than ever and parents need to know what the candidates stand for in this election. This forum is open to the public.
