September 25 - An event at Veteran's Park on Saturday combines information about higher learning with music.
Education Rocks gives students and their parents an opportunity to do some one-stop shopping for colleges and degrees. Nine different colleges will be on hand to answer questions about their schools and give information about how to get into college, and how to pay for it.
30 booths will be set-up with information about different degree programs at Tulsa Community College, which is hosting the event.
Seven different musical acts will also be on stage performing throughout the day.
This includes: The Move, Duende, Steve Liddell, Pilgrim, Sam & the Stylees, Project Huckleberry and Cody Clinton & the Bishops.
Education Rocks is this Saturday from 12pm-8pm at Veteran's Park, 1875 S. Boulder.
