EMSA is preparing in the event crews are called on to help in hurricane impacted areas.

Officials prepped a disaster response trailer and four ambulances on Tuesday to be ready to respond to the hurricane-impacted areas, if requested. Officials say the trailer holds enough supplies to triage and treat 150-200 patients per day for seven days without restocking.

EMSA officials say they can staff and launch the emergency response within 90 minutes of being requested.
