An EMSA paramedic was assaulted while trying to treat a patient on Sunday morning.
Police said the paramedics were called to the Sand Springs QuikTrip to evaluate Rachel Carson. Police said Carson began yelling obscenities and threatening to punch the medic and when he tried to stop her from leaving she hit him.
A different ambulance took Carson to a Tulsa hospital. She faces charges for assault and battery on a medical care provider.
