Emergency crews responded to an accident involving a TPS school bus in east Tulsa around 6:30am Wednesday.

It happened around 41st and 137th east Avenue in east Tulsa. TPD says the driver lost control on a wet road that had just been repaved. Officers say the bus's tire fell off the side of the road, the driver over-corrected and the bus flipped over.
No one was hurt.

TPD says the driver had a suspended license, because of a tag violation on his personal vehicle. His license was suspended as of September 11th, according to police. TPS says they do semi-annual checks on the status of a driver's commercial license, and that drivers are supposed to inform TPS of any tickets they receive.

Police say the driver told them he paid the ticket in full, so he's not sure why his license was still suspended.
