One of the women attacked by a pit bull in north Tulsa last week is home from the hospital.
Beverly Write was released from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Write and her friend, Irene Parker, were ministering door to door when the dog attacked. A good Samaritan heard the attack and shot and killed the dog.
Both women were severely injured. Parker is still hospitalized.
The owner of the pit bull, who has not been identified, will only be cited for failing to neuter the animal and not getting a city license for the animal.
