Dewey man killed in storm in Michigan

A Dewey man died following a car crash caused by severe weather in Michigan.

Officials said 21-year old Ryan Rickman was driving in Rivers Township last night when a large tree fell on his car. Richman attends Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.

He took online classes from Michigan so he could travel with the school’s rodeo team.

Public safety Notice! If youre in your car during a tornado, then get out of your car and into ditch, but of its not a tornado but severe wind and hail etc. stay in your car. dont be stupid and follow the idiots comment below this one, a comment made without knowing the details of what this poor guy was actually driving in. Quite rude to say the least.

That's too bad. You'd figure if he was from Oklahoma that he would know better. Condolences to his family for such a tragic loss. Public safety note: if you are traveling through severe weather stop get out of vehicle and seek protection in a ditch.
