FOX23 has been following a developing murder investigation that started in Skiatook.

We first brought you the details of the first stabbing death of an elderly woman in Skiatook on Monday night.

Then police found a 16-year old slain in a van near the Tall Chief area in Tulsa.

FOX23 digs into this story as police continue their investigation.

The Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested a suspect in the case.

Michael Stanley is in jail accused of killing two relatives.

The second murder was a 16-year-old; her body was found Tuesday.

The first victim was in her 70s.

FOX23 spent a lot of time in Skiatook where this has shaken the community.

We have made phone call after phone call, Tuesday, working to figure this case out.

What we do know is two people are dead and one man in custody.

Officials tell us they were all related, part of the same family.

We were there today as the Violent Crimes Task force arrested Michael Stanley.

We were the only crew on scene, getting the exclusive video of Stanley being arrested and taken in by the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force.

You will only see the video right here on FOX23.

Michael Stanley was arrested in north Tulsa as a person of interest in a double homicide.

Officials believe he stabbed his grandmother to death at her Skiatook home Monday night.

They believe he then left with his 16-year-old sister in a van.

Stabbing her to death not long after.

When the Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Stanley, the members of the task force told FOX23 they had to use a Taser on him to get him in handcuffs.

And in Skiatook, the town is talking.

"Your family is the first people you have to trust so to think that it was a family member that just makes it worse for me," said Micolle Silvia, a Skiatook resident.

She lives nearby and saw the crime scene Monday night.

She's still in shock.

"Everyone moves to a small town because no one expects something like this to happen in a small town," Silvia explained.

Monday, Stanley was taken to Osage county jail.

Deputy Charlie Cartwright and his team found the body of the 16-year-old girl Tuesday morning.

They say her body was in the van on an Oil Lease Road near Tall Chief Cove.

"We have multiple eye witnesses placing him in the area. Now we are working on forensics," said Cartwright.

And he said he won't stop until it's all figured out.

But he also knows, he's not alone.

"It’s a team effort on everybody in the region. From the deputy that responded to that call, to the district attorney that made the trip to see what was all going on," said Cartwright, who is happy to have a team on the case.

Osage county officials tell us Stanley could be arraigned within the next few days.
