Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies are questioning a thirteen-year-old believed to know something about the murder of Mary Escue, of Nevada, on December 18th, 2012.  An arrest has not been made.

Escue was visiting her parents' home, near 111th and Peoria, for the holidays, when she was shot to death in an apparent burglary, just after midnight.

The next day, deputies arrested Joshua Scott Mooney, 14, a Jenks eighth grader.  Deputies say Mooney confessed to breaking through a window at the house, then shooting Escue in the head when she entered the home.  Mooney reportedly told deputies he had taken the gun from the residence.  He's facing a charge of first-degree murder.

It is unclear how the thirteen-year-old may be connected to the crime and deputies say the investigation continues.
