Delaware County sheriff will resign on Monday

The Delaware County Sheriff will resign his position on Monday, October 1st.
In a message sent to employees on Friday Sheriff Rick Littlefield urged all employees to attend a commissioners meeting at 9 a.m. on Monday where he will resign his appointment and the new Sheriff-elect Harlan Moore will be sworn in to office.
Littlefield urged employees to attend the meeting as a show of support for the new Sheriff’s administration.
