My uncle died in that wreck and no matter who was at fault families love ones are gone. i am sorry what you husband had seen and my prayers go out for him for when he is on the road. poeple are afraid of big trucks but they are in danger just as bad as other cars. and yes poeple can be angery about this, but kids who arent even close to being teens will wake up wwith out my uncle, and i give my heart out to the other people enjured.

Myteaky, I had thought what a horrible horrible experience for the driver of the semi to witness and what he must be feeling. My husband was not far behind and came upon this scene while on his way home from work. I worry about him daily on this route to and from work.It seems he has a story about how bad traveling that road is everyday. My heart goes out to all families involved, especially the parents of the young men. Nothing compares to having to bury your child.

My husband is the driver of the semi truck that guy was trying to pass. Im not trying to put blame on anyone but the guy in the SUV was the one passing my husband (he was going the speed limit 55mph). The two guys in the malibu were on their way home from work, they worked inside the port. And the driver of the Malibu was also married. Not in any of the stories do they mention the fact that the SUV spun around and hit the trailer of the semi. Nor that the semi driver was the first one on the scene of the wreck. My husband saw some horrible things out there today that will be hard for him to ever forget. He will never forget what happened and what he saw out there today. I cannot imagine how these families are feeling right now. I just want to say Im so very sorry for their loss. Me and my 3 children are so thankful that my husband made it home tonight. Im so sorry :( Im an emotional wreck and so is my husband. No one should ever have to experience something like this.

From what I understand form the tow company the Malibu was at fault so maybe your prayer should go out to the family of the man driving the Tahoe He has a wife and 4 young children and was on his way to work,

You can be as mean as U feel U need to be But those of that were his friend are so sad that he is gone we all Loved him and He was a very sweet guy and a good friend

The speed limit on that highway is way too fast. You know how many times drivers almost rear end me while im at a dead stop waiting for dump trucks to turn left? I think speed limit should be 40 in that area. I go the speed limit and have people trying to pass me all the time so I speed up a little and the fools still get mad im not going fast enough! Praying for the families of the innocent malibu :( No life is worth the few extra seconds it takes to get somewhere. Especially if it's the other peoples lives you are choosing to endanger just to get yourself to work!!! Why in the world would someone try to pass a semi on that highway!!

I heard that the driver of the Tahoe was pronounced dead at the hospital. At least that's what channel 6 reported. Either way, it's sad that someone thinks they have to be in such an all fired hurry they have to kill people to get there 3 seconds faster. Nothing is worth killing people.
