Decades ago cancer was virtually incurable, now children’s cancer has an overall cure rate of 78%.

On September 29th Green Country families will walk to help get that percentage rate even higher.

FOX23 is a sponsor for this year’s Cure Search Walk at Oral Roberts University. The walk celebrates and honors those whose lives have been affected by children’s cancer and raises money for research.

Registration for the walk begins at 8 a.m. For more information visit the Cure Search Website.
