The Creek County Sheriff's Office burned more than 6,000 pot plants found southwest of Mannford on Friday.
Sheriff John Davis told FOX23 that 6,270 pot plants were found in a rural area southwest of Mannford.
They got a tip on Wednesday about the plants and got a search warrant on Friday morning. Deputies described the area as very remote and private.
Deputies said they expected to find a couple of hundred plants, were not expecting the thousands they found. They said the plants were obviously cared for and were all about 2 to 3 feet high.
The plants were connected by a walking path, and the plants had been potted in six plots.
It's estimated the plants had a $2 million street value. Deputies arrested one man but believe others are involved.
