Concern grows after second unconfirmed meningitis case

After a four-month-old child died from an unconfirmed case of meningitis over the weekend, a student at Union's Jefferson Elementary was also diagnosed with meningitis. Now, concern among parents is growing quickly.

So then if this was happening at your child's school would you send them to school?

So very contagious! My son had open heart surgery in May,1984. 2 weeks after his surgery he went home and had to return to hospital next day with very high fever. He had contacted bacterial meningitis from the hospital. They had 3 cases at the time.
