Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn thinks professional sports could help pay America's debt.

Coburn has come up with the "Pro Sports Act." He says the NFL is expected to make $10 billion in profits this year.

The NFL won't have to pay the government anything because it's tax exempt. The NHL and PGA are also exempt.

Coburn estimates revoking that status could bring in 90 million new tax dollars each year.
