Congressman John Sullivan and Senator Tom Coburn continued efforts to stop the proposed Kialegee Tribal Town casino in Broken Arrow, OK.
They sent a letter to National Indian Gaming Commission Chair Tracie Stevens and Bureau of Indian Affairs Assistant Secretary Larry Echo Hawk, reiterating local opposition to the casino as well as asking specific questions about the status of the casino and the process used to determine the proposed location is eligible for gaming.
Sullivan and Coburn requested written responses to their letter no later than January 17, 2012.
