Claremore officials are asking people to voluntarily conserve water after a blown transformer.
Officials say there are no replacement parts in the warehouse and no backup generator. Both needed parts have been ordered.
Officials say once the water towers are empty, they are empty. They are hoping to get a generator on Friday afternoon, but if they don’t get it they want people to continue using water sparingly.
Rogers County Rural Water District 2 is also included in the rationing.
The City of Claremore will continue to update their Facebook page with the latest information about when it will be repaired.
