City of Tulsa decides to stop pursuing TPD cuts

Tulsa city leaders have decided to reinstate four firefighters to public education roles.

The department proposed cutting the education unit to save more than $300,000.

The city of Tulsa and the fire department could not reach an agreement. So, to avoid costly litigation the city decided to keep the education unit.
