The City of Tulsa green waste collection crews resumed curbside collection of residential green waste as scheduled.

Until Monday, September 15, residents will not be required to place green waste in clear bags or apply green waste stickers to bags or bundles that do not fit inside the refuse cart. All residential households should place green waste at the curb by 6 a.m. on their primary collection day.

Independent of residential green waste collection, the special operation crews dedicated to storm debris removal from the July 23 storm will continue to collect large debris piles that require heavy equipment.

Those zones are tracked on a map at

Storm debris cleanup crews are moving from the outer limits of the city inward. These crews are collecting larger branches, limbs and trunks left at the curb using dump trucks and heavy equipment.
