The Tulsa City Council denied a former Tulsa police officer's requests for legal representation.

Former officer, Jeff Henderson had two requests for legal representation in two federal civil lawsuits.  On Thursday, the councilors rejected requests in both cases.

In 2011, a jury convicted Henderson on eight counts, including civil rights violations and perjury.

He pretty much reflects the untouchable mindset of our police department. That's why we need to hire new chiefs from outside the department and begin weeding out people like this.

Wow he breaks the law, ignores his oath to protect and serve honorably shames not only TPD but the whole city and he wants his legal fees to be picked up by the city? Now who exactly does he think he is again?
