This is a joke. If they wanted to make a change let these officials ride the bus for a month. Here's the thing. It's a stunt. Tulsa knows how to fix the busses. Use gps monitoring to show real time where the bus is, Connect that to google-transit so riders can plan their route real time, have analysts re look at routes real time to make decisions based on traffic, construction, etc.. Finally, take advantage of popular destinations like college campuses around town, or bars like the FREE trolly and charge for shuttle service! Use shuttles for events like the fair or for ball games! Use GIS/gps to see when a buss is ideling too long wasting gas and replan that route or find out why (as in a broken down bus) and finally get a online map that isn't time tables and static. Even ou had an interactive map back in 2005 why can't tulsa!?

Old news. Tulsa transit, though they have nice buses and staff,Have always run ineffectively. You can have up to an hour wait downtown for a transfer. Riding in over 20 other city's, this is the first I have seen this happen. Also the way the routes are planned, it's much easier to hop off a bus and walk 3 to 5 blocks just to save time.
