Cherry Street Farmer's Market announces opening day

The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market announced this season’s opening day will be on April 6th.

Farmers and vendors alike have been busy preparing produce, herbs, spices, meats, cheeses, and much more for opening day. This is an earlier opening day, organizers encourage people come and get supplies for their spring gardens as well.

The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market offers a wide variety of agricultural products, from berries and broccoli to meat and potatoes, not to mention prepared foods like baked goods, salsas, and pre-made meals. In fact, the Cherry Street Farmers’ Market offers dozens of different items to fill any shopper’s pantry.

The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market will officially open on Saturday, April 6th from 7:00 am to 11:00 am on 15th Street and Peoria (15th street is closed from South Quaker to South Rockford). The market will be open weekly through the end of October.
