Charges have been filed against the driver of a boat after it crashed and killed two people on grand lake in May.

Delaware County has filed first degree manslaughter charges against John Deselms. The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation found he was over twice the legal limit at the time of the wreck.

Rachel Swetnam and Trey Varner were killed when the boat they were riding in crashed into a docked house boat. Four others were injured.

Deselms told a Grand River Dam Authority he had consumed about 10 beers and a shot of tequila during a six hour period on the lake.
