A driver is recovering after a cement truck overturned in west Tulsa on Tuesday.

Officials believe the truck went off the right side of the road near S. 49th W. Ave and w. 41st just before noon. They think the driver overcorrected and flipped onto the side of the truck and skidded about 30 feet.

The driver was taken to the hospital and crews took soil samples and will return on Wednesday to clean it up.

They have to justify there jobs and use their soil sample kits regularly. Otherwise they are in fear of their jobs being cut :). On a more serious note, they were probably just keeping the tree huggers happy in case any oil spilled out of the engine haha
