FOX23 News has new video of a vandal targeting car washes for their change.

Police believe a man seen on surveillance camera caused $5,200 in damages at the Fiesta Mart near East 11th Street and South New Haven Avenue in Midtown Tulsa.

The man seen on surveillance is driving a black ford F150. He has a bald head and appears to wear prescription glasses that may tint in the sun.

"It looks like he is looking for the camera," said Fiesta Mart President Duff Thompson.

At first Thompson thought the man was eating something in the car.

"It looks like he is biting off the tape," said Thompson.

Surveillance video shows the man put duct tape over the camera at the cash machine.

A few days later, workers found the cash machine corroded with what could be salt water.

Thompson went through video and found the last clip before it was covered with duct tape.

"They were trying to be really sneaky by putting the duct tape over the camera," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Kurt Dodd.

Video shows the man trying to back out but there's another car coming from behind so he is forced to drive through the car wash but he doesn't get a car wash.

"The unit was accepting cash an hour before this," said Thompson.

Police say they've heard of thieves doing things like this to change machines.

"At one time there a group of guys going around town and there was a chemical they could spray in a cash machine like
that and it would dump the money," said Dodd.

In this case it didn't work at the Fiesta Mart and the vandal got away empty handed.

FOX23 News was there as police gathered evidence to file a report and estimate damages to the cash machine.

"$5,200 that's a big crime," said Dodd.

The Fiesta Mart wants your help to find out who this is so they can press charges.

"We would like to make sure that this person is caught and this doesn't happen to us or anyone else," said Thompson.
