A Catoosa man faces more charges for alleged sexual abuse of a child.
Joe Cheater Jr. was first arrested in October 2011 and charged with seven counts of lewd molestation and four counts of 1st degree rape. Prosecutors filed more charges against Cheater on Wednesday for one count of child sexual abuse.
The original allegations against Cheater date back to 2005 and include victims ages 9 to 14. Police have now charged him for alleged abuse of a foreign exchange student that lived with Cheater and his wife in 2008.
The trial for Cheater’s previous charges is scheduled to start on September 10th.
