First responders had to use the Jaws of Life to free a driver after a head-on collision with a semi-truck.

It happened in Catoosa on the westbound lanes along I-44 and South 193rd East Avenue.

Witnesses said the driver crossed the median and hit the semi head-on.

The car was crushed and the semi got a bit of front-end damage as well.

Crews cut the driver out of the car. The semi driver was not hurt.
