Adilene Watergirl #8 ^]] you're pretending you don't understand the difference between right and wrong. Are you saying that the Capobiancos should have ignored the FACT that their child had been kidnapped. I guess you would just stand there with your thumb up your nose saying "my baby's been kidnapped Oh well" ????? The Capobiancos accepted parental duty and rites when they adopted that little girl and exercised their full rights in protecting THAT little girl from what the majority of the USA would consider a wrong if it had happened to them. The Capobiancos exercised their right through the courts to have their child returned to them and as a result of the Cherokee nation providing brown with their expertise in foot dragging they piled up some pretty hefty lawyer fees between them. The lawyers from the Cherokee nation knew this would happen and now you want to just pretend it away. Thank god in heaven that YOU ain't runnin the ship.

Last time I checked $1,028,796.50 could buy several Mustangs AND a garage to put them in.

Last time I checked, $6,500 doesn't make you rich. The lawyers are the ones getting rich off of this, just like with any long drawn out case.

They wanted to fight for baby veronica and won.. now they have to pay their own bills. Dustin didn't force them to get lawyers and all that. What else do they want they for what's more important and if they really loved her, they wouldn't be asking for someone else to pay for the people THEY hired.

The Capobiancos were graceful enough to allow Brown visitation. Then Brown the dirty theiving ungrateful basturd that he was absconded with the Capobiancos legally adopted child and hid out in the Indian nation. Take it back to square one and charge brown with kidnapping and put brown in a SC prison.

they should get the money... this adoption was legal and all the court costs incurred by them was because of the racist Cherokee nation. this was never about wether or not the would be good parents it was about their race! they were harassed and demeaned in the courtroom and media. they deserve about 5 times what they are asking for!!

It wasnt until this story that I realized how much the poor kid is going to suffer. Before I was kinda neutral on the choice of parents, but now...

These people need to just go away. They won the custody battle, now they want their pound of flesh too. Enough already.

God hath fury like a young woman that has been screwed over her whole life... been there done that
