The couple involved in a custody battle over a Cherokee toddler is asking for more than $1 million in legal fees.
Matt and Melanie Capobianco are asking Dusten Brown and the Cherokee Nation to pay $1,028,796.50 in attorney fees and $6,535.27 in other expenses.
The Capobiancos and Brown were involved in a years long custody suit over Baby Veronica, the Capobiancos took custody of the now four-year old in September.
Brown said he would drop his appeals in October, he said to give her a chance at a normal life.
