A man armed with an AR-15 rifle surrendered to police from a Cleveland home Wednesday, where he had been holed up for more than three hours.

It all started this morning with a burglary in Pawnee county, where deputies say Craig Allen Clark stole a gun and ammunition. He then ended up in a friend's home in Cleveland at 1 p.m.  The woman called police.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tactical team was brought hi. Homes in the area were evacuated.

Clark surrendered to police just before 5 p.m. and was quickly taken into custody.
