Broken Arrow police arrested a woman on suspicion of DUI after a single vehicle crash on Thursday night.
Police say Heidi Fain was driving a Honda Pilot with 6 juveniles inside near 61st and 193rd E. Ave. around 10:30. Police say Fain told them she was going 60 MPH and hit a dip in the road and lost control. The SUV went into a nearby ditch and hit a tree, she said the steering of the car then failed and she couldn't remember anything else.
According to the police report an officer asked Fain if she'd been drinking and she admitted to having a couple of beers two hours before the crash. Fain was given several field sobriety tests and the results of a blood alcohol test are pending.
Police say three of the juveniles were taken to the hospital for injuries. Fain faces charges of DUI and six counts of child endangerment.
