Broken Arrow police ID motorcyclist killed in crash

Broken Arrow police have identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash on July 3rd.
Police say 26-year old Casey Joe Lawrence-Osten lost control of the motorcycle he was driving on New Orleans, near Olive St. in Broken Arrow. The crash happened just after 5 pm.
Police say the motorcycle hit the ground going at a high rate of speed and the driver was thrown across the westbound lanes of traffic. Police say the driver hit another car, despite the driver’s attempts to avoid him.
Paramedics pronounced Lawrence-Osten dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
