BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Like other large districts in Green Country, Broken Arrow schools opened their doors for students on Tuesday.

Some parents didn't agree with the district's decision.

“I was hoping that they would cancel school today,” said Donna Hebert, a mother of a BA student.

She was at school before many of the other moms this morning. Her daughter had show choir rehearsal. So she trudged through the streets to get her here.

“Luckily they've been okay but I think as the day progresses it will get worse,” she said.

Since we spoke snow fell on top of the sleet and ice already on the ground.

Now Hebert is looking ahead to the drive home from school when buses and young drivers will hit the roads again.
