Police in Broken Arrow are looking for suspects when over two dozen businesses are tagged with graffiti. A business park off of Elm St. is where majority of the vandalism took place.
Where Tammy Myers works there was no graffiti on her building, but other area businesses weren't quite as lucky.
"People are just vandalizing its just, they don't need to be doing that, it costs money to take care of the buildings and so forth. You know people coming out here and vandalizing its hurting the companies as well," Myers said.
Its estimated that the annual cost of graffiti in the united states is over 20 billion dollars. Now in Broken Arrow most of the businesses have painted over the tags, but one owner we spoke with today who didn't want to be on camera didn't realize the back of his building was hit with graffiti until we pointed it out. For Tammy Myers she says she'll continue to pay attention to people that don't belong where she works.
" We have been trying to keep an extra eye because we actually have people that come out here and dump things out here, much less doing graffiti," Myers said.
