Mayor Dewey Bartlett’s Bridges of Faith initiative will present a special event for north Tulsa youth on Friday night.

Mark Sherwood, Tulsa Police Sergeant and President/Founder of 4E Fitness, will host the family oriented event at 7:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Dream Center at 200 W. 46th St. N.

Mrs. Victoria Bartlett will briefly speak at the beginning of the program. Special guests, former NFL stars and brothers, Shawn and Jerome King will share their stories of overcoming poverty, gangs, and oppression and will demonstrate their exciting physical feats of strength and power by breaking bricks and ripping apart phone books with their bare hands.

Bridges of Faith to ONE Tulsa is an effort of the faith community to invest in the lives of Tulsa youth and provide them with positive activities, experiences and special events during the summer.
